About International Amateur Games

Founded in Nagpur, India, in 2015, IAG is the leading international Sport organisation for All. IAG’s ultimate vision is a sustainable active world, and it actively pursues that vision by:

  • Advocating and lobbying internationally for sustainable Sport for All and physical activity.
  • Providing networking and experience sharing opportunities.
  • Supporting the development of the Sport for All and physical activity movement by providing appropriate programmes, events and consulting services.

IAG aims to bring joy, health, social interaction, integration and development to communities and citizens around the globe through the promotion of Sport for All and physical activity participation, regardless of disability, age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, family or civil status, culture & socio-economic condition.

Aims & Objectives

  • To promote, encourage, popularize, standardize and supervise Amateur Games in the All Countries.
  • To encourage the formation of National Amateur Games Federations in the different countries of World.
  • To arrange and supervise the International Amateur Games Championships in All Countries.
  • To organize Sports & Games Seminars, Workshops, Refresher Courses and Camps.
  • To assist the National Amateur Games Federations of All Countries to conduct the National Amateur Games Championship of their country.
  • To conduct the Sports / Games Referee Examination for International Amateur Games.
  • To provide the services of Sports Instructors as and when required by the different All Countries for the propagation of Sports / Games.
  • To perform all such others acts as may seem to the Federation to be relevant and conducive to the attainment of the aims / objectives of the Federation.
  • To promote International Amateur Games, International Amateur Youth Games, International Amateur School Games, Asian Country Triangular series and other International Competitions.
  • To cooperate with the Organizing Committees of the International Amateur Games and the International Other Championships in carrying through and control all the technical and financial arrangements
  • To disseminate reports, periodicals, books, films, pictures and instructional matter of any kind relating to, or dealing with athletics. In particular, to educate the athletes to fight against the abuse of drugs in the sport.
  • To represent IAG and work to form the IAG team to participate in international event such as the world Multisport Championship.
